It was food for the Israelites for 40 years, believed to have fallen from heaven when they had nothing to eat (some say in the desert) until they reached the land of Canaan. Food from heaven. Bread of heaven.(Click here for Biblical references.) Whatever they call it, I will always equate the word “manna” to any blessing I did not expect, imagine, or hope for.

This is today’s manna courtesy of Yoga in My Life. Vegetarian dimsum! Yummy! My first time to have tasted a vegetarian version =) Thanks YML!

  1. You are welcome! I can’t believe you took a picture of it. Like Jon, I thought it would be something you would eat to stave off hunger before getting home. Since you liked it, pagluluto ko pa uli kayo! 😉

  2. Oo nga e, not following instruction. Manna was supposed to have sustained the Israelites until they reached “home”, e ako inuwi ko sa bahay, ha ha! Di ko kayang kumain at uminon while moving, seriously. Yey! Keep it coming 😉 Cook fest na kasi tayo!
