When you are able to break down the pose into small movements, you’d see that it is not about flexibility. Of course, in my case, it does not help that I sit a lot and for long hours. 🙂 If I may ask, why do you want to do this pose?
It’s the crucible in my yoga practice. Although lately I’ve been able to bind, albeit with a lot of effort and help from the teacher. I find it metaphorically linked to my consciousness. It’s like a block within my psyche has opened. It’s very hard to explain it, but I feel mentally and emotionally lighter since I’ve done this pose. Does it make sense?
Oh my goodness!! I wanted so much to do this, but I’m not flexible enough. =(

Absolutely! 🙂 Focus, practice, surrender.
